Protest Procedure
1. Protests,
etc. based on the umpire's judgement decisions will not be permitted.
2. A
protest based on an umpire's interpretation of the rules must be lodged with the
umpire before the game resumes.
3. The
umpire must inform the opposing team and the score keeper(s) that the game is
being resumed under protest.
4. After
the game, the protesting team must complete a protest form and report the
incident to the division convenor within 24 hours.
5. The
division convenor shall contact the INTERLOCK COMMITTEE to get a proper ruling
on the play and report this back to the protesting team.
6. Even
if it is held that the protested decision violated the rules, no replay of the
game will be ordered unless, in the opinion of the divisional convenor, it
affected the outcome of the game.
